Mary Endorf is the Volunteer Coordinator for the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum & Exploration Center. She is always eager to meet with people interested in volunteering, and she shares information about the many activities of the museum and the volunteer opportunities available to museum members. She shares some of her insights here.
Whether you are a new or renewing member, there are so many ways you can be involved. We have volunteer opportunities which include serving as museum docents, helping at special events, assisting with children’s and adult’s education programs, and providing support in the office, just to name a few.
Volunteering at the River of Time provides lifelong learning experiences about our beautiful Lower Verde River Valley, opportunities to make new friends, and most of all the satisfaction of providing service where it is needed.
Some of our programs and activities include monthly speakers, educational events such as trips to the Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, and experiences with the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, social events, and community outreach programs, including Living History presentations.
Don’t hesitate to email me if you are interested in more information and to set up a time to get together for a welcome orientation. My email address is maryendorf@comcast.net.
