Make A Splash Fundraiser $1000

WRA Have Already Made a Splash!

Thanks to a generous $1,000 donation from Western Resource Advocates (WRA), we are a third of our way to our first goal of $3,000. Reaching this goal will support staff and volunteer efforts to develop a new dynamic, interactive, museum tour.

WRA is a regional nonprofit working to help Arizona communities and water utilities adopt smart solutions to reduce demand on the region’s limited water supplies and keep its rivers healthy and flowing. Their support will help us reach the ultimate goal of building a new water conservation exhibit.

Before we reach that long term goal, we’re looking forward to implementing other interesting and exciting programs. These include widening our reach outside of the River of Time walls with a water-themed Exploration Experience tour. We plan to connect with our young people through a traveling exhibit experience that includes outreach curriculum written to STEAM and Arizona state education standards.

The culmination of our 2022-23 campaign will be a celebration of World Water Day which has occurred on March 22 of each year since 1993. In March 2023, the River of Time will sponsor water conservation organizations and educational organizations in a day long festival of water.

We’re looking forward to growing closer to our goal of becoming a major water conservation education center and each of you can be a part of making it happen. Please won’t you join us and “Make A Splash?”
